Installation, Mounting and Piping
KTS pumps may be ordered for either vertical or horizontal mounting. Units submerged in a  tank do not require a mechanical shaft seal. Since KTS pumps are positive displacement, pressure relief valves must be installed to protect the pump and system components. Close-coupled mounting brackets are available for either NEMA or IEC motors. Since the internal components of a triple screw pump operate hydrodynamically, pumps cannot be allowed to operate in a dry condition. Pumps can be ordered alone or completely assembled with motor, mounting bracket and relief valve and strainer.
